SUMMARY:Family & Friends Support Group
DESCRIPTION:This six week group is open to individual 19 and over who are caring for a loved one living with a life-limiting diagnosis\, as an opportunity for participants to connect with their peers. This group is facilitated by registered social workers\, who will assist in helping participants share their thoughts and feelings regarding the caregiver experience. \nThe group begins September 15 and meets weekly on Tuesdays from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. for six sessions (September 15 – October 20). This group is being held virtually through the online platform Zoom Meetings. Internet access and a device with a camera is required to participate. Group facilitators can assist registrants prior to the start date to set up their free Zoom account.
