SUMMARY:Friends & Family Support Group
DESCRIPTION:This six-week group\, facilitated by Registered Social Workers\, is open to individuals 19 and over who are caring for a loved on living with a life-limiting illness. The facilitators will help participants to share their thoughts and feelings regarding the caregiver experience\, and to connect with their peers. \nThe group begins February 10 and meets weekly on Wednesdays from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. for six sessions (February 10 – March 17). This group is being help virtually through the online platform Zoom Meetings. Internet access and a device with a camera are required to participate. Group facilitators can assist registrants prior to the start date to set up their free Zoom account. Thanks to the generosity of our donors\, there is no cost to participate\, but registration is required. \nThis group is facilitated by Carlie Fink\, MSW RSW and Kaylen Leonienco\, MSW RSW.
