But why?  Believing death is disturbing and dangerous is common.  For some people\, thinking and talking about death can elicit feelings of anxiety\, fear\, awkwardness\, or sadness\, and because of this\, we tend to pretend\, as a culture\, that it’s not going to happen.  The reality is\, we are all going to die.  Confronting the idea of death can help us to live a more meaningful and authentic life. \nJoin us for an interactive conversation about death and dying\, and help break the taboo.  We will examine common views about death.  We will explore what shapes our perception of death.  We will review and debunk some myths about death.  And\, we will work toward naming the elephant in the room!
