SUMMARY:Children's Art Therapy Grief Group
DESCRIPTION:This six-week grief art therapy group is open to children ages 6-12. It is available to children who have experienced the death of a family member or friend. This is an art therapy group that uses art activities\, games\, and discussions as a pathway to healing. It will be led by a registered social worker and an art therapy student. There will also be a simultaneous group for adults at the same location. Enrollment is free of charge\, but space is limited and registration by phone is required.

DESCRIPTION:This six-week grief support group is open to adults ages 19 and up. This group is available to anyone who has experienced the death of a family member or friend. This is a support group that provides an opportunity to talk about your own grief experience and learn from the experience of others. Participants will be encouraged to explore the events\, thoughts\, and feelings associated with their grief stories. The group will be led by Steven Janzen who is a registered psychotherapist. DESCRIPTION:This five-week grief art therapy group is open to teens ages 13-18. It is available to teens who have experienced the death of a family member or friend. This is an art therapy group that uses art activities\, writing exercises\, and discussions as a pathway to healing. It will be led by a spiritual care coordinator and an art therapy student. There will also be a simultaneous group for adults at the same location.
