Music therapy is the use of music in combination with the therapeutic relationship. An accredited Music Therapist collaborates with clients and families to provide music experiences that safely and purposefully address goals within physical, social, emotional, and spiritual domains. Virtually, clients and families can engage in singing familiar music, song writing and relaxation techniques, as well as discussion around music for coping and reminiscence. This program is provided within both the residential and community program.
Clients are able to access this program virtually either by phone, or video calls via the online platform Zoom Meetings. This program can be scheduled any day of the week from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, there is no cost to access this program.
